The arrival of the Multan Sultans is certainly going to increase the competitive atmosphere of the Pakistan Super League, but looking at the amazing strong squad of talented players, it is highly likely that the Sultans are going to intimidate the others players.

The PSL 2018 Multan team have gained immense popularity over their decision to recruit Shoaib Malik as the captain, who is also accompanied by two other senior cricketers, Kumar Sangakkara, a legendary player and Kieron Pollard, who has been playing T20 cricket worldwide.

The PSL 2018 Multan Sultans squad also includes Sohail Tanvir, an amazing T20 player and a talented fast bowler, along with Kashif Bhatti, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan and Sohaib Maqsood, who all promise to deliver a solid performance.

The Multan Sultans team made some interesting choices during the PSL Draft, Imran Tahir was their very first pick, along with the middle-order batsman Darren Bravo. The Multan Sultans have managed to create a strong team of core players such as Nic Pooran, Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Abbas.

The PSL 2018 Multan team is owned by a Multan-based organization, The Schon Group, and it will be joining the fight alongside Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars. This new team was allowed to join the Pakistan Super League after paying the staggering sum of $5.2 million each year.

Naturally, the rising popularity and prestige of the Pakistani Super League has led to the creation of this new sixth team, as everyone wants to cash in on the rapidly-rising fame of the PSL. Cricket lovers worldwide enjoyed the seasons, and TV ratings have shot sky high, expecting to further increase this year.

After much thinking the Multan sultans finally came up with a strong batting and balling line up. There are some noted names in the list but we can only predict how they will perform together considering the incredible mix of international players with Pakistanis. Among the noted Pakistani names are Shoaib Malik who is also the captain of the team. Then we also have Sohail Tanvir as well as Sohaib Maqsood and Junaid khan.

Amon the international names, the Multan sultans managed to procure Kumar Sangakkara as well as Darren Bravo and Nicholas Pooran. The Emergency players also have some significant names including Shan Masood just in case the team needs to switch their game at the last moment.
