The Pakistan Super League is back with a bang and the authorities have released the schedule for the PSL season 3, indeed, the most anticipated and eagerly awaited event of the year. The very first match of the Pakistan Super League 2018 is schedule to be held on 22nd February in Dubai. The match will have Peshawar Zalmi, the glorious champions from last season, pitted against the seemingly tough newcomers to the league, the Multan Sultans.
The franchise behind the PSL released a schedule on 7th December, and the PSL 2018 is said to have a total of 24 matches, which will held across various locations in Lahore, Karachi, Sharjah and Dubai.
The Pakistan Super League 2018 final will be held in Karachi, on the 25th March, 2018.

Efforts are underway to stage two play-off games in Lahore followed by what would be a historic HBL PSL final in Karachi.
The PSL franchise has made it clear that the HBL sponsored Pakistan Super League is going to a world-class spectacle of some serious cricketing action. The excitement is at its peak while everyone in the country and abroad is scrounging to book themselves the best tickets that money can buy.
Ali Naqvi, the owner of PSL franchise Islamabad United, revealed his excitement about the final being held in the seemingly turbulent city of Karachi.
It is important to take matches beyond Lahore. We have to go step by step, and we are headed in the right direction.
This year’s PSL Draft was also an exciting event. We saw this glorious platform acting as an influential milestone to support the careers of several experienced and emerging players.
Misbah-ul-Haq, the captain of Islamabad United, express his excited by saying,
My prime job is to nurture the emerging category players and I think Farhan, Hussain and Husnain have some really exciting talent I can work with.
The season is all set to start off with a welcoming ceremony, held at the Dubai International Stadium. Throughout the seasons, every team will get a chance to play against each other twice, in order to select the top four teams that will make it to the play-off stage.
