PSL 2025 Players retentions  announced by PCB officially. All six franchises finalized squads for the HBL PSL 2025. The Players’ Draft is scheduled to take place on January 11. The 2025 edition of HBL PSL will run from April 8. Matches will conclude on May 19, spanning over exciting weeks.

A total of 510 players from 19 countries are registered. This year’s draft promises a thrilling pool of talent worldwide. Franchises aim to build competitive squads with strategic picks during the draft. Fans eagerly await another thrilling season of Pakistan’s premier T20 league. The tournament will showcase top-class cricket and memorable performances throughout.

Each franchise was allowed to retain up to eight players, with three franchises opting to retain seven players each. No trades were made during the retention window.

PSL 2025 Islamabad United Retentions

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced psl-player-retentions Islamabad United retained their key players, including Shadab Khan (Platinum), their captain and player of the tournament from the previous season, and Naseem Shah, a star fast bowler. They have further strengthened their core by keeping their top performers in pivotal roles.

In the Diamond category, the team continues to rely on Imad Wasim (also the team’s mentor) and Azam Khan, who bring immense value and experience to the squad. Additionally, Salman Ali Agha (Brand Ambassador) and Haider Ali (Gold) remain integral parts of the lineup. The team has retained Colin Munro and Rumman Raees in the Silver category, ensuring depth and balance across all departments.

Multan Sultans, the runners-up in PSL 2024, have retained Mohammad Rizwan (Platinum) as their captain and Usama Mir, the standout leg-spinner.

The Diamond category includes David Willey (who is also the team mentor), Iftikhar Ahmed, and Usman Khan. The team retains Chris Jordan in Gold and keeps Faisal Akram in Silver.

Peshawar Zalmi, one of the most consistent franchises, has Babar Azam (Platinum), their prolific captain and the all-time leading run-scorer inPSL 2025 Players retentions history, alongside young sensation Saim Ayub.

Mohammad Haris returns in the Diamond category, while Arif Yaqoob, Mehran Mumtaz, and Sufyan Moqim remain in Silver. Ali Raza, who recently impressed in domestic cricket, retains his spot in the Emerging category.
